I'm reminded that I like memoirs. She might say Kim's not homophobic but it sure seems like she is!

Previous 2022-2023

Ryōko Kui Delicious in Dungeon (2014 - 2023)

Martha Wells The Murderbot Diaries (2017 - Ongoing)

Rereading the first 4, apparently. I thought it'd only be the first 3. On the 4th again now. I got Kindle Unlimited cause they're all on there and some lesiban pulp novels too. I'm not a fan of giving Amazon more money though. I gotta find a different way to get ebooks. Maybe piracy is the answer? Anyway, I really love this series. I'm noticing that I like protagonists who are in their head a lot. Katniss and Murderbot both have very loud internal monologues. I do feel like my internal monologue is different and weird.

Suzanne Collins The Hunger Games series (2008 - 2010)

Re-reading them. I first read them near when they came out. I got a hankering to watch the movies and quickly remembered that they left out most of the interesting parts of the books. Stuff like the avox and disability and all of Katniss's internal monologue. It's a series reliant on her strong point of view and without it there's a lot missing. I'm happy to be reading, though. I need to be more willing to revisit things I like. I'll probably enjoy myself more.
